The Slow Rush (180g)

Five years after the groundbreaking success of Currents, Kevin Parker, the mastermind behind Tame Impala, returned in 2020 with his most ambitious work to date. "The Slow Rush" is a profound meditation on the passage of time, packaged in a glittering, highly polished sound of acid house, 70s disco, and modern psych-pop. On 180g heavyweight vinyl, this album unfolds a sonic warmth and depth that literally draws the listener into the sound.

Where earlier albums were still more rooted in rock, "The Slow Rush" celebrates the dance floor and the perfection of the studio. Kevin Parker wrote, produced, and mixed everything himself to create a work that sounds both nostalgic and from the distant future.

An Experience for the Senses:

"The Slow Rush" is an album that invites active listening. It is the perfect soundtrack for moments when you want to forget the time around you. Whether through headphones or large speakers – the spaciousness of the mix sets standards for modern music productions.
