Salad Days

The epitome of coolness: A milestone of jangle pop.

"Rolling like a dummy..." – With "Salad Days" (2014), Mac DeMarco didn't just create an album, but an entire feeling. It's the soundtrack for endless summer days, smoky rooms, and the charming melancholy of growing up. With his unmistakable "Jizz Jazz" sound, Mac created a work that influenced an entire generation of musicians.

Following the success of 2, DeMarco refined his formula on "Salad Days" : sleepy melodies, meandering chorus guitars, and lyrics that oscillate between silly humor and disarming honesty. It's an album that feels like an old, comfortable favorite sweater—you want to wear it again and again.

An experience for connoisseurs:

"Salad Days" is the ultimate album for slowing down. Whether as background music for a relaxed evening with friends or for mindful listening through headphones – the songs flow seamlessly into one another, creating an irresistible, hypnotic atmosphere.
