After parting ways with the "Thin White Duke" and fleeing turbulent Los Angeles, David Bowie found a new artistic home in Berlin in 1976. "Low" (released in 1977) was the radical result of this transformation. Together with Brian Eno and Tony Visconti , Bowie created an album that blurred the lines between rock, avant-garde, and electronic ambient music.

"Low" is considered one of the most influential albums of all time. It laid the foundation for post-punk, new wave, and modern ambient music.
