On August 30, 1992, Nirvana took to the stage at the Reading Festival in England. It was a tense moment: rumors about Kurt Cobain's health and the band's demise were circulating. But what followed wasn't a breakdown, but the ultimate statement. Cobain was wheeled onto the stage in a wheelchair and hospital gown, only to deliver a performance seconds later that is still considered one of the most powerful rock performances of all time.
