3 Feet High And Rising (180g) (Limited Indie Edition) (Opaque Magenta Vinyl)

This is where it all began. In 1989, De La Soul shattered all genre boundaries with their debut album and established the legendary "DAISY Age" (Da Inner Sound Y'all). Away from hard gangsta rhythms, towards a colorful, humorous, and utterly eclectic soundscape. This exclusive pressing brings back the classic in a quality that does justice to the album's significance.

3 Feet High and Rising changed the DNA of hip-hop. It proved that rap could be intellectual, goofy, peaceful, and extremely groovy all at once. Thanks to years of licensing disputes, this album was virtually unavailable physically for years – this reissue is therefore the perfect opportunity to fill that gap in your collection.
